But if there’s a particular area of our work that’s close to your heart, you can direct your gift to support it. Whether you're passionate about nurturing future artists, expanding community access, or celebrating excellence on stage, your contribution can make a targeted impact.
While Alberta Ballet must retain legal control of all gifts (as per CRA requirements), we deeply value your intentions and will honour your wishes to support the programs you care about.

Community Programs
Alberta Ballet’s Community Programs bring the joy of movement to those who might not otherwise experience it. From free ballet classes in schools to cultural exchanges with Indigenous communities, your directed gift helps us reach thousands of Albertans each year.
We believe everyone deserves access to the arts—regardless of income, geography, or background. Community Programs are 100% donor-funded and are a vital part of how Alberta Ballet fulfills its mission.
Student Scholarships
Help shape the next generation of dancers by directing your gift to Alberta Ballet School’s Scholarship Fund. Your support can provide tuition relief, boarding assistance, or academic support for talented young artists who might not otherwise be able to pursue their dreams.
Donor Advised Funds (DAFs)
If you give through a Donor Advised Fund, you can recommend that your gift be directed to specific areas like scholarships or community engagement. We’re happy to work with your DAF provider to ensure your gift reflects your values and priorities.
Dance Circle Membership
Support excellence in performance by joining a donor circle or directing your gift to Membership. This helps sustain Alberta Ballet’s annual operations and gives you access to exclusive behind-the-scenes opportunities. You’ll be part of a passionate community of arts supporters helping us bring ambitious productions to life.
Endowment Giving
When you contribute to Alberta Ballet’s endowment, your gift becomes part of a permanent fund—held and managed by the Alberta Ballet Foundation—that supports the company’s mission year after year. While annual donations are essential, endowment gifts create lasting stability and ensure that future generations can experience the transformative power of ballet.
